Rated Current630 A
Gas MediumDry air
Protection DegreeEnclosure IP3X, gas-insulated compartment IP67

Product Overview

GPR1.2 is a new-generation compact, intelligent, eco-friendly ring main unit developed for distribution network construction and renovation. It uses dry air as the insulating medium and combines vacuum arc-extinguishing technology to replace SF6. It retains the technical benefits of fully insulated RMUs while achieving zero sulfur hexafluoride emissions. It features compact structure, safety, reliability, ease of use, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and maintenance-free operation.

Eco-Friendly Insulation

Uses dry air as the insulating medium and combines vacuum arc-extinguishing technology to replace SF6.

Compact And Maintenance-Free

Offers compact size, practical operation, and maintenance-free service as an eco-friendly alternative to SF6-insulated RMUs.

Key Features

Environmentally Friendly

Utilizes specially treated dry air as the insulating medium, supporting green distribution solutions.

Electric Field Optimization

Internal electric-field optimization technology ensures uniform electric field distribution and stable dry-air insulation performance.

Maintenance-Free Operation

Components inside the gas-insulated compartment require no maintenance for 30 years.

Mechanical Interlocking Safety

Mechanical interlocking devices with anti-misoperation functions are provided.

Visual Isolating And Earthing System

Clear analog indication and visual observation support safer isolating and earthing status confirmation.

Internal Arc Pressure Relief

Pressure relief directs internal fault gases toward the rear or bottom of the unit to protect operators.

Compact Design

Occupies less than one-quarter of the floor space of traditional products, saving valuable space.

Sealed Stainless Steel Gas Tank

Primary components and busbars are housed in a sealed stainless steel enclosure for reliability and environmental adaptability.

IP67 Gas Compartment

The enclosure is IP3X while the stainless steel gas-insulated compartment achieves IP67 protection.

Structure Diagram

The GPR1.2 ring main unit primarily consists of the cabinet body and a sealed stainless steel gas tank. The cabinet body is divided into the operating mechanism compartment, cable compartment, and secondary instrumentation compartment. Functional units are separated by metal plates into independent compartments to minimize fault influence.

Busbars, circuit breakers, and connecting conductors are installed within the sealed stainless steel gas-filled enclosure using dry air as the insulating medium. The enclosure is IP3X, with IP4X optional, while the gas-insulated compartment achieves IP67 protection. Modular construction improves interchangeability and helps shorten processing cycles.
