GPFN7 AC high voltage load switch is a new type of gas-producing indoor high voltage load switch. It is suitable for three-phase AC power system with AC 50Hz and rated voltage of 12kV, used for breaking load current and closing short-circuit current.
Closing spring charges via the operating mechanism; energy releases on completion to achieve high-speed closing of the contact knife.
Main contact knife disconnects first; arc contact knife breaks the circuit instantly, generating gas to extinguish the arc.
Automatically opens when the current-limiting fuse blows; can only be reclosed after re-buckling.
Mechanically interlocked with the earthing switch to prevent mis-opening and mis-closing.
Can be equipped with an electric opening device to realise remote electric opening.
