Distribution Circuit Switching
The breaker handles routine switching and fault-current interruption in outdoor distribution networks, including applications with frequent operation.
GreenPower
ZW32 12kV is an outdoor AC vacuum circuit breaker for 50/60 Hz distribution systems. It makes and breaks load, overload and short-circuit currents in substation, industrial, mining, urban and rural network applications. The 12 kV version listed here is rated at 630 A and 20 kA, with a spring mechanism for manual or motor operation.
The breaker handles routine switching and fault-current interruption in outdoor distribution networks, including applications with frequent operation.
Reclosing controllers, FTU and RTU equipment can be specified for distribution automation. Select these options with the required control power, protection and communication interfaces.
The vacuum interrupter is housed in a sealed pole assembly. The breaker switches normal load current and interrupts overload and short-circuit current in the distribution circuit.
A stored-energy spring mechanism operates the breaker. Manual charging and opening/closing handles provide local access, with motor operation available for electrically controlled installations.
Opening/closing position and stored-energy status are indicated outside the mechanism housing, so the operator can check the breaker state at the equipment.
